Physician Awards

The Physician Awards were created in 2016 to provide recognition for some of the many talented and dedicated physicians in the Department of Medicine.

2019 AWARD WINNERS

This year, the Awards Committee chose four recipients from among a group of highly qualified nominees in each of four categories. The award recipients, selected by their peers for their exceptional and inspirational achievements, included: Mark A. Greenberg, MD (Distinguished Clinician); Tulay Aksoy, MD (Citizenship); Shadi Nahvi, MD, MS (Humanism); and Wei Chen, MD (Rising Star).This year's Awards Committee members included: Drs.
