EEL Board Member

Joanna Steinberg

Joanna Steinberg has both a corporate and non-profit background, combining her professional skills with her zeal for social entrepreneurship and philanthropy. Joanna founded and chaired the Millennial Society of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation and played an integral role in raising awareness and visibility for the cause.

Joanna’s involvement with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine began in the fall of 2010 when she was introduced to avid supporters. She was inspired by the diverse and meaningful work of the organization, commitment of leadership, and transparency of program initiatives. Shortly thereafter, along with several of her peers, Einstein Emerging Leaders was born.

Joanna co-chaired the EEL Annual Gala in both 2012 and 2013. She currently serves as Executive Co-Chair of the board.
