The membership of the Senate Committee on Fiscal Affairs was approved.

The September 16 minutes were approved.

Einstein’s fiscal year 2013 NIH grant income dropped slightly compared to fiscal year 2012, but less than the NIH budget was cut, so that Einstein is doing reasonably well so far in the face of the sequester.

Einstein has received a significant New York State Stem Cell shared facilities grant.

The LCME self study process has begun, and is being led by Dr. Michael Reichgott.

The consulting group is in the data gathering phase. The Senate Fiscal Affairs Committee will be a point of contact with that group.

The meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
