The January 6 minutes were approved.

The successful placement of the bond covering the remaining debt that Einstein owed was discussed.

The tenure subcommittee proposal for modifying the tenure policy was discussed.

The highlights of the strategic plan were presented. Strategic goals include expanding collaborative research between clinical and basic science departments, continuing to enhance and evolve the medical education process, and strengthen the MSTP and PhD programs. Organizational goals include forming a collaborative, mutually enhancing organization, fostering a culture of rigor and fiscal discipline, and exploring new academic areas and methods.

The meeting adjourned at 4:03 p.m.
