Senate Meeting: Tuesday, September 4, 2018

After approval of the Minutes, Dr. Gordon Tomaselli gave his Dean’s report. Dr. Tomaselli gave a brief introduction on his own career and experiences, focusing on how they have shaped his view of the function and importance of an academic medical center.
Dr. Jeff Segall, for his Speaker’ report, introduced the new Senators to the mechanisms of the Einstein Senate, its website, and its records.
Furthermore, he reported on a special senate council meeting held in June.
Dr. Allison Ludwig introduced the new Einstein Student Mental Health Center.
