1. Meeting minutes from the Feb 19, 2020 Senate Council meeting were approved.
2. Recent developments in the Coronavirus pandemic and their potential implications for Einstein were discussed. At the time of this meeting, only a single case in Westchester had been reported. Dr. Tomaselli indicated that the situation was being monitored, and that CDC and NY State Health guidelines were being followed. The potential impact of Coronavirus on students abroad, conferences, and availability of laboratory consumables (e.g., gloves and PPEs) was discussed.
3. Dr. Tomaselli updated the Council that McKinsey Consulting would assist with strategic planning.
4. Negotiations between 1199 Union and Montefiore were discussed.
