ABSENT: Dr. Kalyani Dhusia

1. Meeting minutes from the Mar 24, 2021 meeting were reviewed, and revisions recommended.
2. There was discussion of vaccination, and the potential for vaccine requirements for employees on campus. This may depend on nature of employee roles (e.g., patient-facing).
3. Concern was voiced over the cancellation of the 180th Street shuttle, and how many of the Einstein community are dependent on this transportation. The shuttle provides a safe method of transportation, especially in light of recent anti-Asian violence on public transportation. Many students are also dependent on the shuttle.
4. Dean Tomaselli updated the Council on philanthropy. The new Chief Development Officer met with the Chairs and is planning to make a presentation to the Council.
5. Dean Tomaselli further updated the Council on on-going restructuring in the Dean’s Office, and Departmental reorganization.
6. The current salary of research associates was discussed. 

The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
