- Meeting minutes from the Jan 20, 2021 meeting were reviewed, and revisions recommended.
- The new joint BA/BS-MD program between Yeshiva University and Einstein was discussed. The overall impact of this program on the composition of the incoming class at Einstein is unlikely to be significantly affected, but it provides an opportunity to recruit strong high school students to Yeshiva then Einstein. The potential for other feeder programs as a conduit to improve diversity in the student body at Einstein was discussed.
- Dean Tomaselli provided an update on events to commemorate Black History month, the Marie M. Daly lecture, the Leo M. Davidoff Education day, and Middle States site visit.
- A potential $13M award from New York City to fund a biotherapeutics GMP facility at Einstein was discussed.
- Dr. Josh Nosanchuk provided a presentation on medical curriculum evolution at Einstein.
The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
