Career & Professional Development

Pursuing a graduate degree is the first step of your professional career. As a student in the Einstein Graduate Programs in the Biomedical Sciences, you will have extraordinary opportunities for career development, including:

  • attending seminars given by prominent scientists from around the world (see events calendar),
  • presenting ongoing thesis work to the campus community through the weekly Works in Progress program,
  • presenting ongoing thesis work to the larger scientific community at national and international conferences,
  • publishing articles in high-impact scientific journals, and
  • attending career development workshops on biotechnology, undergraduate colleges, pharmaceutical companies, government agencies and careers in academia.
