The Ombuds Program

The Ombuds Committee at Einstein is a group of individuals committed to providing an informal, impartial, open-minded and supportive ear for Einstein students to voice and be heard with respect to their concerns and complaints about their learning environment and interactions with their teachers, the clinical and laboratory staff.

Students who submit reports to the Ombuds panel should feel safe that their complaints are confidential without risk of retaliation. If you feel you have been mistreated by any person at any time, please complete a Ombuds Complaint Form.

Visit the Ombuds Program webpage for more information on the committee’s mission and procedures.

Report a Bias Incident

A bias incident targets an individual based on their age, color, religion, disability (physical or mental), race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, or veteran status, as identified in the student code of conduct. Visit the Report a Bias Incident website for more information.

Report Student Mistreatment

Einstein is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive academic environment that is free of all mistreatment, including intimidation, disrespect, belittlement, humiliation, and abuse. Einstein has therefore adopted a policy of zero tolerance with respect to student/postdoctoral fellow mistreatment, which means that all reported instances of mistreatment will be fully investigated. To report an incident of student mistreatment, complete the Mistreatment Reporting Form.
