The minutes of the February 9, 2011 meeting were approved.

The MCFM final lecture interview with a patient was noted as very successful.

Neither the formation of the National Center for Advancement of Translational Science (NCATS) nor the dissolution of the NCRR are anticipated to have a negative impact on scientific research at Einstein.

Feedback regarding the proposal for modifications to the promotions criteria from chairs and medical education council was provided.  There were objections to the original committee proposal.  An altered proposal will be provided to the Senate Council at its next meeting.
