• After approval of the Minutes, Dr. Burns gave the Dean’s report, since Dr. Tomaselli could not attend the meeting.

• Dr. Burns presented updates on the searches for the cancer center director and chairs for ENT and Pediatrics.

• He also reported on efforts to obtain NYC grants to build incubator labs at Einstein for startup companies.

• Dr. Segall gave the Speaker’s report, and commented on one council meeting dealing with student housing issues.

• He also announced new Committee on Committees members, replacing faculty that have stepped down. The slate was approved by the Senate.

• Finally, Dr. Segall presented his plans for his upcoming report to the Board of Trustees.

• Ms. Sheila McBride presented the Einstein policy library project.
