The March 13 minutes were approved.

Updates A/V contract has been signed for updating the rooms. DHHS review of indirect rate is ongoing. A search for a new CERC director will be initiated. Cancer center director search is progressing.

Kamran Khodakhah presented the faculty diversity action committee proposal for guiding principles for faculty searches at Einstein. Key recommendations include the appointment of a search committee diversity officer, and unconscious bias awareness training.

The academic leadership of the school was discussed, in particular the structure and expectations of the positions of the departmental chairs. Also concerns about departmental review were expressed. This will be the topic of a future discussion.
