Dr. Burns, filling in for Dr. Tomaselli, gave the Dean’s report, updating the Senate on the Cancer Center recruiting efforts, new Anesthesiology chair, and appointment of Dr. Bresnick to Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs. Additional updates were provided on the new tenured faculty and on the accreditation process.

Dr. Lai, filling in for Dr. Arnsten, gave a brief Speaker’s report updating the Senate on the items discussed at two Senate Council meetings.

Dr. Katz updated the Senate on the Montefiore COVID-19 situation.

Dr. Cassese presented the changes to the medical school curriculum.
