Transforming our Teams Using Psychological Safety
Thursday, October 20, 2022
Event Description
As healthcare embraces the team approach to patient care, medical education has adapted more team-based and small group learning. This current interprofessional and collaborative model celebrates diversity but requires everyone be included. Therefore, it is critical that medical educators learn skills to create, nurture and maintain learning and working environments with high psychological safety as to optimize learning, creativity, problem solving and growth. In this 1-hour workshop we plan to unpack foundational concepts, teach skills, and allow for application of these skills.
