Professional Activity
Prior to entering Einstein, Dr. Eleanor Bathory was a high school chemistry teacher. She has an extensive history of volunteering her time for community health related activities. During medical school this included the Einstein Youth Violence Prevention Program and the Einstein Community Health Organization Free Clinic. After the first year at Einstein she spent the summer in Guatemala learning Spanish and volunteering in community health settings. She has worked on a research project in the Division of Adolescent Medicine on the topic of motivational interviewing and did undergraduate research on RNA-DNA hybrids that resulted in a publication.
