Einstein-Rockefeller-CUNY-Mount Sinai Center for AIDS Research

The Einstein-Rockefeller-CUNY-Mount Sinai Center for AIDS Research (ERCM-CFAR) synergizes the expertise of over 150 outstanding basic, clinical, translational, behavioral, implementation, and public health investigators from three major academic institutions at the forefront of HIV/AIDS research: Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Rockefeller University, City University of New York (CUNY) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Our scientific affinity for and long-standing commitment to HIV/AIDS research are consequences of our New York City location, which was one of the first epicenters of the HIV pandemic almost 40 years ago. There are over 128,000 people with HIV in NYC, the highest number in any city in the country, and the site of four of the 48 counties with the highest number of new HIV diagnoses targeted by the United States federal government Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. plan.
