Overview
Welcome to the Belfer Institute for Advanced Biomedical Studies, our mission is to support postdoctoral fellows at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Our goal is to fulfill two crucial missions:
- Provide a focus for integrating all postdoctoral training programs at Einstein and fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across diverse research areas.
- Serve as a powerful advocate for postdoctoral issues to ensure that postdoctoral fellows have the resources and support they need to thrive.
We recognize the vital role postdoctoral fellows play in our scientific productivity. Your dedication and expertise are critical contributors to Einstein’s scientific mission. That's why our goal is simple: to create the best possible scientific and social environment for postdoctoral fellows.
The Belfer Institute is directed by a senior member of the research faculty, who oversees the academic and quality-of-life aspects of the postdoctoral experience at Einstein. The director also works closely with a dedicated program manager and program coordinator.
We are here to encourage and support you in refining your professional training, developing your leadership skills, and navigating your career in academia, industry, or beyond.
