Candidates for the M.D. program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine apply using the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS), the centralized application processing system of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) that verifies and distributes student application materials to all U.S. medical schools. M.D. student applications are due in AMCAS each year on October 15, and all supporting documentation must be uploaded no later than December 1. The AMCAS school code for Albert Einstein College of Medicine is 120.

To begin your application, please register with the AAMC and create an account. Once you register, you will receive an AAMC identification number. Please maintain up-to-date contact information, including your preferred mailing addresses, email address, and telephone number with AMCAS directly to ensure that you receive time-sensitive notifications about your application status. If you have trouble completing your application at any point in the process, contact Einstein’s support team at 617-612-2881 or the AMCAS support team at amcas@aamc.org or 202-828-0600.

Complete Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Secondary Application

If you have selected Albert Einstein College of Medicine as an M.D. program choice, AMCAS verifies your completed primary application and sends it to office of admissions at Einstein. We then provide you with information about how to complete Einstein’s secondary application using WebAdmit, our secure online applicant gateway. Einstein communicates with students about application status via email, so it is important that you add all emails coming from admissions@einsteinmed.edu and donotreply@webadmit to the safe sender list in your inbox. If you experience technical issues creating your WebAdmit account, please review these frequently asked questions.

How Do I Know Einstein Received My Application?

The application process is considered complete only after Einstein has received your scores on the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), letters of recommendation, and your application fee. You will receive reminders from AMCAS if your letters of recommendation are not received. You are responsible for communicating with AMCAS in a timely manner to resolve any issues, otherwise your application could be delayed or not reviewed.

Students are notified by e-mail when your full application is complete. Once Einstein’s office of admissions finishes processing your application materials, all documents are released to the M.D. admissions committee for preliminary review. Students who are invited for an interview begin receiving notifications from the office of admissions in August, with notifications proceeding through the end of April.

Please note that emails regarding your payments and the completion of your secondary application go to the email address that you have on file with AMCAS. If you would like to change the email address at which acknowledgements about your application status are sent, you must revise this information in your AMCAS account.
