Academic Calendar

At Albert Einstein College of Medicine, M.D. students follow a specific academic calendar. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with important dates for the 2024-25 academic year. The listing below shows orientation dates, the start and end dates of each phase of the M.D. curriculum, institutional holidays, winter break, and spring break. We also list other religious and cultural holidays when the school is closed, as well as holidays that we know students observe. Einstein makes every effort to minimize required sessions on holidays, but this is not always possible. Please contact your course directors as far in advance as possible to request to be excused from a required session. Dates are subject to change.
