The Hamamatsu Slide Scanner is an automated slide scanner. It provides brightfield and fluorescence scanning of whole slides.

Fluorescence Filters: DAPI, 488, 555, mCherry, CY5, CY7
Light Source:
Brightfield (immunohistochemistry): Lumencor LED light source
Fluorescence: Lumencor LED light source
Image detection:
Brightfield (immunohistochemistry): high-speed 4-megapixel color CMOS camera
Fluorescence: low-noise high-speed 5.5-megapixel CCD camera
Software: NZ acquire for acquisition. NDP.View2 for visualization.
Additional Features: Z-stacking; Batch acquisition (60 slides)
Special Rules for Slides:
- slides must be very clean
- no overhanging coverglass
- no overhanging stickers

coverglass must be attached (must not move easily):
- hard-set mounting media
- semi-wet/removable gelatin mount
- no wet mount
