In order that the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (“Einstein” or “College of Medicine”) may maintain and improve its position as an eminent contributor to the education of physicians, the advancement of science, the maintenance of health, the prevention of disease, and the improvement of the provision of medical care, it is evident that there must be understanding, trust and enthusiastic cooperation among the faculty, research fellows, student body, the Dean, the Chief Executive Officer, the Board of Trustees, and the Boards of Trustees or directors of Einstein’s affiliated hospitals. The essence of the governance of the school is that success and growth depend on open, honest discussion of all issues.
