AIMS
The primary mission of the BSTC is to provide consultative services and technical support to high-quality translational intervention research that targets diabetes-related health behaviors, using scientifically rigorous methods that are informed by multi-stakeholder input and collaboration. Ongoing BSTC research covers the spectrum of diabetes translation, including effectiveness trials, patient-centered outcomes research, community-based participatory research (CBPR), comparative effectiveness research (CER), and implementation and dissemination research. The BSTC brings together a rich set of resources to support translational investigators working to overcome barriers to widespread dissemination and implementation of evidence-based strategies that target clinical management and/or behavior and lifestyle change to reduce diabetes health disparities in real world health care and community settings.

The TIMC consultation services structured to help investigators:
- Refining hypotheses about mechanisms and moderators of intervention effects and guide evaluation plans
