Ever since her high school AP Psychology class, Dr. Dass was fascinated by the connection between the mind and the brain. During her undergraduate years at Washington University in St. Louis 2010-2014, she cultivated that interest by pursuing a degree in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology. At Wash U she graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa scholar, and also published two research papers related to child language development. She went on to attend medical school at New York University School of Medicine 2014-2018, and at that time she conducted a research project studying Alzheimer's disease in squirrel monkeys. She then completed her PGY-1 year in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center 2018-2019. After completing neurology residency, she plans to pursue a fellowship potentially in behavioral/cognitive neurology or epilepsy.
