Montefiore Neurocutaneous Center

The goal of the Montefiore Neurocutaneous Center at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with neurocutaneous disorders. In particular, we specialize in managing patients with tuberous sclerosis and neurofibromatosis, however we also see patients with other neurocutaneous disorders, as well. Our multidisciplinary team provides compassionate, thorough, family centered care. We also provide education and a support network to our patients and their families to help improve quality of life.

Our center is part of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and Neurofibromatosis Network. We are actively involved in community outreach programs for both tuberous sclerosis and neurofibromatosis. We also participate in groundbreaking research aimed at treatment of these conditions and improvement in quality of life.
