Middle States Self‐Study 2026–28 Leadership

The Middle States Self‐Study 2028 is co-chaired by three institutional leaders and governed by Working Groups, Core Support Teams, and Leadership Committees. The seven Working Groups correspond to each of the seven Middle States Standards and the Three Core Support Teams support the Self‐Study’s efforts.

Teams

The Evidence Inventory Team will be led by Ariel Fishman, Assistant Dean for Educational Programs and Planning. Ariel brings extensive experience in academic planning, evaluation, and accreditation processes, positioning him to effectively guide the development and oversight of the Evidence Inventory. Additional team members will include key members from the Office of Evaluation and Education Outcomes.

The Communications Team will be led by Deirdre Branley, Executive Director of Communications and Public Affairs, with assistance from staff members in the department.

The Logistics Team will be led by Michael Slade, Executive Director, Education Administration and Operations, with assistance from key members from the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment & Reporting and other colleagues, as deemed appropriate.
