Overview

Einstein is committed to providing a secure environment for its faculty, staff, postdocs, students and visitors. Our security and transportation office strives to maintain the Jack and Pearl Resnick campus as a secure place for work and study. Its staff members offer a variety of services that include:

  • Providing campus security, along with around-the-clock Security Escort Service 
  • Managing locksmith and lost & found services
  • Conducting investigations
  • Administering the campus ID card and access control program
  • Assigning and policing employee parking
  • Assisting with campus postings
  • Overseeing transportation services for medical students during their clerkships
  • Maintaining a daily crime log and a fire safety log
  • Spearheading Einstein’s Campus Emergency Notification system 
  • Bicycle Registration and Abandonment Policy

Forms

  • Parking Application (To apply for a paid parking space in one of the campus lots, please contact the Security Office to learn whether space is available.  If there is, complete this form and bring it to the Payroll Office to obtain payroll withdrawal for payments. Then bring the form to the Security Office. Please note: This application does not guarantee that the applicant will either receive a parking space designation or parking at a preferred facility. Information regarding indoor parking garage can be obtained by calling 718-430-7021).  
  • Locksmith & Security Work Order (Please complete this form if you need a lock installed or key made. Locksmith work orders and other related services are processed through iLab). 
  • Surface Parking Permit Form (Please complete this form as part of your surface parking space assignment.)
