Dr. Priya Nori, Director of the Montefiore Einstein Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Wakefield, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine (Infectious Diseases), was recently presented with the Teacher of the Year Award from graduating members of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program.

Dr. Nori is highly involved in fellow education and curriculum development in the area of Infectious Diseases. This year, she created a novel board review course for fellows, drawing from her own recent experience taking the board exam. She created a list of the highest yield and most heavily tested concepts and coordinated monthly review sessions on targeted topics, recruiting colleagues to give relevant lectures. Plans are in place to develop a formal curriculum from this year's pilot program.
