Programs

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology prepares graduate students and postdoctoral scientists for careers in biomedical research and medicine. We provide a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative environment that exposes trainees to a wide variety of experimental approaches and fosters innovative thinking.

Ph.D. program

Ph.D. students join our department through the school-wide Einstein Ph.D. Program in the Biomedical Sciences.

M.D. Ph.D. program

Einstein's M.D. Ph.D. program combines the M.D. and Ph.D. courses of study.
