All fellows are encouraged to participate in some meaningful scholarly activity. Depending on their interest, experience and abilities, this can be laboratory-based research, clinical research or combined research. Fellows have the opportunity to pick their own research subjects. They can work with Allergy Division faculty members or with anyone else in the Montefiore/AECOM system. Current research projects/interests:

  1. Intravenous gammaglobulin for immunodeficiencies and autoimmune disorders (Drs. Rubinstein, Bernstein, Shliozberg)
  2. Subcutaneous gammaglobulin with/without Hyuloronidas (Drs. Rubinstein, Bernstein, Shliozberg)
  3. Clinical trials for angioedema (Dr. Rubinstein)
  4. Enzyme replacement therapy to immunedeficiency (Dr. Rubinstein)
  5. Immune and autoimmune manifestationsk in immunodeficiencies and infectious disorder (Drs. Rubinstein, Bernstein, Shliozberg)
  6. Monoclonal antibody and cytokine therapies for immune, autoimmune and neoplastic diseases (Dr. Rubinstein)
  7. XOLAIR treatment for chronic urticaria and asthma ((Drs. Rubinstein, Bernstein, Shliozberg)
