Areas of research and populations in focus within in the Division of Complex Family Planning include:
- Immediate postpartum contraception including systems and implementation research, patient perspectives and experiences and provider education
- Medical management of early pregnancy loss and intrauterine fetal demise - use of mifepristone
- Contraception for women with medical conditions
- Reproductive health needs of HIV positive women and girls
