Deborah Sherman MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology on the Weiler campus in 2002. Prior to this, she was an Attending Gastroenterologist at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY from 1990-2000. She worked at the Max Meltzer Geriatric Clinic in NY as the GI consultant from 1993- 2000. She worked at a private Gastroenterology group in Bergen County, NJ from 2000-2002. She completed her fellowship in Gastroenterology at St. Luke's Hospital, NY from 1982-1985. She completed her Internal Medicine training at New York Medical College. She received her Medical Degree from New York Medical College as well. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Barnard College. Her clinical and research interests include general gastroenterology, nutrition, reflux disease and colon cancer.
