The April minutes were approved.

Dean’s Report
As the main agenda item for the meeting, Dean Allen Spiegel provided an expanded Dean’s Report entitled “Einstein 5 years later:  Where have we been?  Where are we going?”

Speaker’s Report
Senate Speaker Jeff Segall announced that a very successful Davidoff Medical Education Day had recently taken place.  He also reported that a Board of Overseers meeting was held a short time ago at Einstein, and that it included a Mini-Med School, so that the Board members could appreciate the challenges and joys of training to be a physician.      

Committee on Committees
Vinayaka Prasad, Chair of the Committee on Committees, announced a call for suggestions for new members of the Faculty Review Committee.
