Minutes
The May minutes were approved.

Dean’s Report
Dean Allen Spiegel reported on recent Einstein activities including commencement, the Cancer Center Advances Meeting, and the Faculty Mentoring Award Ceremony.

Speaker’s Report
Senate Speaker Jeff Segall was unable to attend the meeting.  Vice Speaker Elyse Sussman indicated that there would be no Speaker’s Report, as the Senate Council had not met since the last Senate meeting.        

Committee on Committees
Vinayaka Prasad, Chair of the Committee on Committees, received approval for a change in the composition of the Quality of Life Committee.  He also received approval for the composition of the newly reformed Faculty Review Committee.

Walter Ronaghan:  Quality of Life Committee
Walter Ronaghan, Senior Director of Auxiliary Services, reviewed the history of the Quality of Life Committee and discussed how the committee functions and its recent activities and plans for the future.
