Item 6 on the May 9th minutes list of suggestions regarding having center directors meet already takes place.

DMB and Urology do not have searches for chairs under way yet.  There are no plans for a DMB search in the near future.

The Rehab Medicine search was inconclusive and will be redone.  A search for the chair of Neuroscience has just begun, and the committee is chaired by Dr. Robert Singer.  The search for the chair of Pediatrics is ongoing. 

For the May Board of Overseers meeting, a miniretreat regarding graduate student training was held.  It was very positively received by the participants. 

Alumni Day will take place on Friday June 1, with a CME session titled “Transformation of 21st Century Medicine by Reversing Aging and Regenerating Cells and by Reinventing Healthcare Delivery and Medical Education”.

The proposed Committee on Admissions for the medical school for 2012-2013 was approved.
