The minutes were approved after 1 small change.

The passing of Dr. Stanley Nathenson was noted with deep regret.

The proposed members of the promotions committees were approved.

There will be increases in the health insurance costs for the upcoming year, reflecting at least in part recent increased outlays by the plan for health care expenses.

The Banner system going live date is Jan 1.

The dean attended the opening of the Kwazula-Natal Research Institute for TB and HIV (K-RITH) in South Africa, which has significant collaborations with Einstein.

There was a presentation of a proposal for an educational center.

The meeting adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
