The March 30 minutes were approved.

Dr. Baum presented proposed changes in the Bylaws of the Committee on Student Promotions and Standards. Currently students that fail 3 exams are encouraged to decelerate. Previously failure of 6 exams required discussion with a committee. 8 exam failures lead to automatic dismissal. The proposed change is that students who fail 5 exams in the first year need to automatically decelerate, in order to help ensure successful completion of the program.
