The March 19 minutes were approved.

There are ongoing steps in reducing the deficit through reductions in faculty salary in consultation with the appropriate departmental chairs.

The voluntary separation policy for staff (not faculty) has been released today.

The Price Waterhouse Cooper overall audit for YU has been released and is available on the YU web site.

The latest news reports regarding YU’s financial status were discussed. Consultants are assisting with restructuring the institution to address the short term fiscal issues so that the long term stability of the institution is assured. The administration is looking closely at the specifics of where the expenses are occurring.

The tenure proposal was briefly discussed. It includes a commitment to tenure and a base salary.

The meeting adjourned at 3:55 p.m.
