PRESENT:  Drs. Allen Spiegel, Jeffrey Segall, Elyse Sussman, John Blanchard, Robbie Burk, Roy Chuck, Jill Crandall, Ekaterina Dadachova, Nadine Katz, Genevieve Neal-Perry, Gary Schwartz, Ed Burns

EXCUSED:  Drs. Francine Einstein, Allison Harney, Vern Schramm, Mr. Faraz Alizadeh, Drs. Stephen Baum

The May 20 minutes were approved. 

The Senate Appropriations subcommittee approved a 2% increase for NIH, which is a hopeful sign, but this is not a guarantee of the final product.

The votes regarding the salary reduction letters were discussed.  Possible ways for finding a compromise will be explored.   

There was discussion regarding the transition to a new Einstein. 

The meeting adjourned at 3:55 p.m.
