Speaker Segall presented letters forwarded by various Einstein organizations urging resolution of the agreement between Montefiore and Yeshiva University. He then relayed information told to him by the administrations of Montefiore and Yeshiva University which presented their support for resolution of the agreement.

After a discussion which followed, a motion of no-confidence in the administration of Yeshiva University and the Board of Trustees to manage the affairs of Einstein was adopted. Furthermore, the Senate passed a motion to enlist the support of public figures to encourage the rapid completion of the inter-institutional agreement as well as a motion to form a Communications Committee to facilitate enlisting the support of those public figures.
