PRESENT: Drs. Allen Spiegel, Jeffrey Segall, Elyse Sussman, Julia Arnsten, Jill Crandall, Ellie Schoenbaum, Victor Schuster, Pamela Stanley, Steve Walkley, Elena Martynova, Ed Burns, Allison Ludwig, Ms Nina Flerin

ABSENT:

Dr. Burns presented an update on the accreditation process. The council discussed and approved adopting the AAUP Statement on Academic Freedom and the description of Einstein’s mission and goals after some modification.

A discussion of the appropriate way to address the implications of the potential phasing out of DACA took place. The administration is committed to supporting all DACA students present at Einstein.

The meeting adjourned at 3:55 p.m.
