Senate Meeting: Wednesday, January 16, 2019

After approval of the Minutes, Dr. Tomaselli gave the Dean’s report, announcing that the Boards of Regents has granted an absolute charter for degree granting to Einstein.
Updates were presented on the searches for the cancer center director and chairs for ENT and Pediatrics.
Dr. Segall gave the Speaker’s report, announcing the new Senate Council members.
Dr. Davies announced his resignation as Chair of the Committee on Committees due to his election to the Senate Council, and his intention to stay in the position until a replacement is nominated.
Finally, Cara Every, Fidelity representative at Einstein, presented the current investment options for the Faculty retirement plans.
