1. Meeting minutes from the Sep 2, 2020 Senate Council approved.
2. The procedures for election of the Ssenate Officers were discussed.
3. The Montefiore Strategic Management Plan, which is being developed in consultation with McKinsey, was discussed. Although some economizing is anticipated, there is nonetheless the potential for strategic investments in research. There is also the potential for new faculty recruitment in the future, some of which tied to the Cancer Center.
4. The Council discussed negotiations between Einstein 1199 Union and Montefiore.
5. The Council was updated on the Scrub Ceremony, which was socially distanced and successful.
6. Influenza vaccines will be available to employees soon, and strongly encouraged.

The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
