There was a fundraising function in South Florida last week that went well.

 

Dr. Schoenbaum will be presenting plans for an Einstein Student Opportunities in Academic Research (SOAR) project at the Drexel ELAM (executive leadership in academic medicine) meeting. 

 

Match day went very well overall.  The reputation of Einstein medical students continues to be outstanding.

 

 

 

The US News and World report on medical schools indicates that we rose in overall ranking from 41 to 39.  Problematic aspects of the ranking process were discussed. 

 

Suggested for a future agenda item is an update on the master plan.

 

The meeting adjourned at 3:55 p.m.
