Event Description
In this workshop, attendees will gain valuable insights into navigating the academic publication process successfully. Through interactive workshops and expert guidance, learners will address common obstacles and challenges encountered during abstract submission and manuscript publication. They will evaluate the pros and cons of pre-prints, open-access, and traditional publication models, understanding their implications for research dissemination.
Additionally, the project will equip participants with effective strategies to cope with rejection and harsh reviews, fostering resilience and growth. Through collaborative sessions, participants will workshop their project ideas, refining them with feedback, and develop a well-structured timeline for timely and efficient submission.
This is our second session of the IDSNY Fellow Series. Please join us and continue to work with your ID colleagues in New York City.
