The February 6th minutes were approved.

Drs. Matthew Gamble and Regina Hanstein were welcomed as invited representatives of Associate and Assistant Professors, respectively.

Two NY economic development applications for GMP facilities that would like be housed in Van Etten have been submitted and answers have been provided in response to followup questions posed by the NYED.

The Palm Beach fundraiser was last week and went well, based on the theme “Art and Tech: The Future of Medicine”.

The match process is still under way and its completion much anticipated.

Concerns about elevator repair as well as temperature control in Ullman and other parts of campus were discussed. It was urged that Gregg Tarquinio should be notified regarding serious issues.

Opportunities in local real estate that might enable additional nearby postdoc and faculty housing are being considered, given the likely development of a train station across the street.

The possibility of inviting Montefiore leadership to a Senate meeting to provide the faculty with a better understanding of Montefiore Health System and Einstein’s position in the system will be explored.

The meeting adjourned at 4 p.m.
