After approval of the Minutes, Dr. Tomaselli gave the Dean’s report, updating the Senate on the ongoing Cancer Center Director search and announcing an upcoming visioning retreat.

The Senate Speaker, Dr. Arnsten, discussed the role of the Senate Council and announced the next “Seeds for Collaboration” event.

Dr. Arne Gennerich, Chair of the Committee on Committees, presented the roster of the Committee on Committees and announced the reviving of the Tenure Policy Committee.

Mr. Neil Kaplan, Chief of Security, presented the annual crime report.

Dr. Jeff Segall initiated the discussion of the changes to the Senate Bylaws.
