Stem Cell Isolation, Xenotransplantation and PDX Unit

Our unit provides specialized services and advanced research support for scientists working in stem cell biology, cancer research, regenerative medicine, and translational therapeutics.

Our unit enables isolation, enrichment, characterization, and culture of stem cells from diverse biological samples, supporting both basic and applied biomedical research. The facility also offers expertise in xenotransplantation models, allowing researchers to study human cells and tissues in vivo for applications such as disease modeling, stem cell engraftment, tumor biology, drug response, and therapeutic evaluation. In addition, our unit develops and maintains Patient-Derived Xenograft (PDX) models, which preserve molecular and clinical characteristics of primary tissues and cells, providing highly relevant platforms for precision medicine, biomarker discovery, and preclinical drug testing.

Through state-of-the-art infrastructure, technical expertise, and collaborative support, the core accelerates the translation of laboratory discoveries into clinically relevant healthcare innovations.
