All contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology (EP) procedures are performed at Montefiore Medical Center, and nearly all permanent pacemakers are implanted and followed by the arrhythmia group.
Montefiore has 3 dedicated fluoroscopy laboratories for procedures including:
- electrophysiology studies
- pacemaker implants
- serial drug/automatic implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) testing
Facilities and equipment are available for Tilt-table testing, arrhythmia provocation stress testing, and signal-averaged electrocardiography (ECG) studies.
