Call Schedule Hepatology fellows cover two weekend days per month. Additionally, overnight call coverage is shared between hepatology and gastroenterology fellows. The hepatology fellow will take call two nights per week, only covering the inpatient hepatology service, including any incoming admissions or transfers. Research All hepatology fellows are encouraged early in their training to identify a project of interest. With a large faculty with diverse research interests available, they will work closely with a research mentor to develop a project with the goal of presenting at a national meeting and publishing in a respected journal.
